Based on the principle that the meridian systems of Chinese Medicine are most active during certain times of day, this clock displays not only the active organ, but other categorically resonant information such as:

The Acupuncture Clock has a specific feature called RealTime that allows the user to calibrate the clock based on their location. When RealTime is on, your exact position will be used to calibrate the Acupuncture Clock to map high-tide of Large Intestine time to your local sunrise time, and high-tide of Kidney time to local sunset time, thereby creating a dynamic seasonally accurate clock.

When RealTime is off, the Acupuncture Clock behaves like the classically standard, fixed clock independent of location.
